Hi, I’m Natalie — a Surrey-based artist and surface designer working under the name Vine Art & Design.
I specialise in creating delicate, painterly patterns and illustrations that blend traditional watercolour textures with digital techniques. My work is characterised by soft, natural colour palettes and often features botanicals and wildlife, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and gardens around me.
My designs span wallpaper, fabric and home décor, alongside bespoke pattern design and illustration projects. I collaborate with interior designers and home decorators to create custom designs for wallpaper, curtains, and upholstery, providing colour palettes, moodboards, and mockups to help visualise the final outcome.
Beyond pattern design, I take on freelance illustration work, including landscape paintings, pet portraits, logo design, and children’s book illustration. I’m a member of Illustrators For Hire, a curated network of professional freelancers from around the world.
When I’m not working from my home studio, you’ll often find me outdoors — exploring local parks and RHS gardens, spending time by the sea, or heading to the mountains in winter. I’m always open to new collaborations and creative projects. Please feel free to get in touch by email.
